Meadowbrook Hall tour – 21 Great Lakers toured the mansion built  by Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of auto pioneer John Dodge, and her second husband, Alfred Wilson. Constructed between 1926 and 1929, it was the center of a country estate that included 1,500 acres, numerous farm buildings, recreational facilities, several residences and formal gardens.

.Ron Finch Workshop tour – 12 Great Lakers toured the 3 acre property and workshop of Ron Finch, an 80 year old builder of custom motorcycles.  Motorcycles may be what made Ron famous, but he has branched out into all kinds of imaginative artwork made from recycled “stuff”.  Our photos are below – if you want to learn more about this amazing artist, check out his website www.FinchsCustoms.com.

Can you see the gas tank? Probably not! Ron’s philosophy is to highlight the engine and hide the gas tank.
